Figma Prototype - Entrypoint / 2025
While attending Millersville University, I worked as both a desk and resident assistant. My responsibilities included checking student IDs and signing in guests at the front desk of my dormitory. At the time, we used a paper-and-pen system to log visitors, which often became overwhelming—especially during busy periods, when trying to locate the form, read illegible handwriting, or manually verify whether certain students were allowed entry. This created both efficiency challenges and potential security risks.
At Millersville, students could sign in either temporary or overnight guests. Temporary guests were required to be signed out by 10 PM, while overnight guests needed approval from the host’s roommates. Managing this process manually added additional layers of complexity.
This experience inspired me to brainstorm a more streamlined and secure solution. As I began learning Figma, I developed Entrypoint, a prototype designed to automate the guest check-in process. The prototype includes a short flow for categorizing temporary and overnight guests, with built-in alerts to flag groups who have overstayed.
While this version is based on Millersville’s policies, the application could be customized for use at other universities—not just for dorm sign-ins, but also for tracking visitors in campus facilities like fitness centers, student unions, or event spaces.
This is just an early example, developed as I continue learning Figma, of how the application could function on the web. The long-term vision includes expanding it into a mobile version that uses a device’s camera to scan student IDs and automatically populate guest information.
Rebrand & Figma Prototype - Sugar Bowl / 2023
Sugar Bowl is an iconic restaurant located on the Millersville University campus. Since opening in 1978, it has expanded to two locations in the Lancaster area, serving pizza, subs, and their famous "World's Greatest Strombolis". In the campus design community, however, Sugar Bowl was known for its rather unique website. During a college group project on website navigation and UI/UX design, we were tasked with redesigning the Sugar Bowl site. The original site, with its saturated colors, whimsical fonts, and confusing navigation, created an overwhelming user experience. Working in small groups, we restructured the content into wireframes, enhancing the design while maintaining the essence of Sugar Bowl. Now, as a Millersville alum myself, I decided to revisit Sugar Bowl as part of my redesign challenge. Building on what I learned during that initial project, I created a Figma prototype. The prototype walks through the process of ordering a large, regular stromboli at the Millersville location. To interact with the mobile design, click the button below to open the link in a web browser. If you're unsure of what to select, tap anywhere on the screen, and a blue box will highlight the interactive areas.

Rebrand - Bethesda Bagels / 2023
Bethesda Bagels is a family-owned restaurant chain with locations across the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. Since the 1980s, they have been serving handcrafted bagels and homemade cream cheeses, priding themselves on their community involvement. After hearing rave reviews from my Deloitte coworkers about their everything bagels and tofu cream cheese, I visited their Rosslyn, VA location. The line stretching out the door was a testament to the local love for these bagels.
While their bagels are indeed delicious, my design-focused mind couldn’t stop fixating on the “super bagel”—a complex, muscular logo that didn’t quite fit. Despite not finding the origins of the superhero theme, I decided to lean into it, reimagining their brand with a bold, bright, and comic-inspired look. Since Bethesda Bagels primarily focuses on to-go items and catering, my mockups emphasize advertising for their store locations and highlight their signature products.
