Project Overview
Bethesda Bagels is a restaurant chain across the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area that offers handcrafted bagels and homemade cream cheeses and spreads. They are family owned and operated since the 1980s and strive on their involvement in their community. I visited Bethesda Bagels in Rosslyn, VA after my Deloitte coworkers boasted about their everything bagels and tofu cream cheese. The line out the door amplified the community love for these bagels as I joined the wait for my own.
And yes, their bagels are delicious, but with my design focused brain couldn't get over the complex muscular super bagel.
While my deep dive into Bethesda Bagels did not explain why they have a super bagel, I continued the superhero theme into a bold, bright, and comic-centric appearance. As a business that primarily focuses on to-go food items and catering, the mockups I created highlight the advertising for their store locations and items that promote their products.
